Teaching British Values
The DFE have published guidance for schools on promoting British Values to ensure that young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. All schools have a duty to promote the fundamental British values of ‘Democracy’, ‘The Rule of Law’, ‘Individual Liberty’ and ‘Mutual Respect For and Tolerance Of those with Different Faiths and Beliefs’.
