Cross Country
This is aimed at children from Y3-Y6. It is held on a Tuesday morning at 8.15am. Children can arrive ready to run and according to the weather conditions. We tend to run unless it is very wet or very snowy.
The club works towards competing in the inter-school Cross Country competition which is held over 5 weeks at different venues across Lincolnshire. There are around 25 schools that take part.
We have two teams, the fastest 6 boys and fastest 6 boys. The course is 2k, so our weekly training is around that distance. We go through warm up, running and breathing techniques and cooling down and stretching. The club is for everyone
In 2023 our school won the competition for the Girls team and the Whole School team overall.
