School Vacancies

We currently have two vacancies, these are for an Extended Provision Manager and a Teaching Assistant - Level 1.  Details are as follows:

 

 

Extended Provision Manager

(To lead breakfast and after school clubs)

 

ELLISON BOULTERS CHURCH OF ENGLAND ACADEMY

 

Start Date: 7th January 2019

Salary: G5 - £19,819 pro rata

Contract: Permanent

 

25 hours per week - Term time only (however we are seeking to expand to holiday clubs)

Monday – Friday 7.30am – 9.00am + 3pm – 6pm = 22.5 hours

(+ 2.5 hours for admin/planning/preparation).

 

Childcare qualification or relevant experience is desirable.

The role includes:

  • Planning and preparing exciting and engaging activities/sessions for the children.
  • Administration of the Kids’ Club booking in system.
  • Managing paperwork and admin.
  • Following Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Meeting and greeting parents/carers and providing them with feedback on their child’s time at the club.
  • Managing a team of play workers.
  • Ensuring provision for breakfast and snacks for children.
  • Supervising the children, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Engaging children in all aspects of their play and conversation.
  • A Pediatric First Aider is a requirement, however full training will be provided.

 

Candidates must be: organised, a good communicator, enthusiastic, honest, reliable, hardworking, have leadership skills, be flexible, kind and caring. Most importantly, candidates will enjoy working with children and willing to have fun!

Teaching Assistant Level 1

ELLISON BOULTERS CHURCH OF ENGLAND ACADEMY

 

Start Date: 7th January 2019

Salary: TA1 G3.6 - £17,007 pro rata

Contract: Part time - Temporary (pending the needs of the school) - end date 19th July 2019

16.25 hours per week (Term time only)

Wednesday 12pm -3.15pm.

Thursday & Friday 8.45am-3.15pm (a break will be included throughout the day).

 

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join our school family in January 2019. We are an outstanding Primary school situated a few miles north of Lincoln. Our aim as a Church of England school is ‘educating for life in all its fullness’. We are deeply committed to high quality professional development for all our staff.

 

The job will entail supporting groups of pupils and identified children within the classroom, as well as supporting some children at break times. We will therefore be looking for a range of skills that will mean the successful applicant is able to quickly adapt planning to meet the specific needs of the children they work with.

 

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has excellent communication skills and is able to evidence experience of working successfully within a team.
  • Is hard working, organised and flexible.
  • Is able to provide evidence of how they have adapted planning to meet a child/children’s specific needs within a class and the impact of this.
  • Can support children with their emotional and social development.
  • Is able to follow the school’s behaviour management policy effectively.
  • Is able to communicate effectively with parents/carers.
  • Is able to liaise with outside agencies and follow professional advice provided by specialists.
  • Shows initiative in making adaptions to the curriculum as well as working alongside the class teacher, following direction and planning provided.
  • It would be an advantage to have some knowledge of Autism and PDA.
