All parents wishing to request a period of absence for their child must do so in writing to the Headteacher.
This should clarify the following:
* The nature of the request.
* Why this absence cannot be taken at any other time (why this is an 'exceptional circumstance').
* How many days of school will be missed.
* The dates of which the absence will begin and conclude.
