Our WOW Day was wonderful! Look at the wicked weaving we wove across the weft and warp!
This week the children have been using the 'Book Creator' app on the iPads to write and animate their own version of the story of Robin Hood. If you have this app at home, ask them to share with you the skills that they have learnt. Don't forget to check back next week to see their finished stories!
This week the children have been writing about their Myths and Legends WOW Day. They enjoyed a 'talk for writing' session and shared pictures and paintings about their experiences.
We created this shared piece of writing –
On Wednesday we had our WOW day. First we made magical story stones. Next we looked for clues on a story trail. Finally we listened to stories around a warm and cosy campfire.
The following day the children wrote their own recounts with the objective to use time words.
