Y2: Super Squirrels - Miss Toyne
Our Celebrations topic was greatly enhanced by some of our EB family sharing a Diwali assembly with us! Thank you. Later on in the week a member of our class taught us all the “Stick Dance” that he and his brother had shown us in the assembly!
A day of yellow and spots for The Super Squirrels! ….and a scrummy cake for lunch time. Children in Need 2019 Thank you for all the donations.

The Super Squirrels had an excellent WOW day as we launched the new topic “We’re Going On A Journey- Transport.” A Steam Engine, old fashioned Fire Engine, some model aeroplanes and several Harley Davison motorbikes visited throughout the day….WOW!
On Thursday 16th May The Busy Bees were invited to "open" The Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Board's Annual General Meeting with their performance (Class assembly) "We are unique". They were absolute superstars as they shared their message with their audience at Lincoln's BG University. Miss Toyne and Mrs Stumm were very proud!
On Tuesday 26th February The Year Two children took part in a multi-skills festival at Pembroke Academy. They thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon of stamina and skills whilst portraying respect and responsibility alongside perseverance and polite manners. They were great ambassadors for our school. Also, a great big thank you to the parent helpers who joined us for this event . Your support and encouragement towards the children was very much appreciated. Well-done to ALL involved
