Admissions for Reception September 2026
If your child was born between the 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022, and you wish to apply for a place here at Ellison Boulters Church of England Academy, please see below the following key dates:

| Thursday 15th January 2026 | Online application closes. (National Date) | Any amendments after this date can be made via Lincolnshire County Council |
| Thursday 12th February | Lincolnshire Final Closing Date | Lincolnshire final closing date for late applications and changes. (Your application may not be accepted if you apply to schools outside of Lincolnshire. |
| Thursday 16th April 2026 | National Offer Day | Offers of school places sent to parents via email. |
| Thursday 16th April 2026 | Admissions reopen for late applications or changes. | |
| Saturday 16th May 2026 | Admissions close. | |
| After 1 June 2026 | Main allocation process ends. | |
| June to July 2026 | Admissions appeals held. | |
| September 2026 | Pupils start school. | |

Appealing for admission
If parents wish to appeal against a decision to not allocate a place at our school, they can do so by applying to the Governing Body, using the Appeals Form below. An Appeals Panel, which is independent of the Local Authority, the school and its governors, will then assess each case independently.
Whilst Lincolnshire County Council do not accept our school appeals through their website, they do provide a helpful guide on how to appeal your child’s school place:

If you go to appeal, it is assumed this is your preferred school and, if the appeal is successful, you will lose any previous offers of a place.

Are you new to Ellison Boulters?
School uniform can be purchased via a link on our website from Price and Buckland or from Uniform Direct in Lincoln. Our school office stocks a number of items of school uniform that you may wish to purchase. We also have a 'pre-loved' uniform shop at school where you are able to buy second-hand school uniform for a small donation. Admissions for September 2027
If your child was born between the 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023, they will be ready to start Reception in September 2027. Please check back soon when we will publish the application process and Open Day dates for you to look around our school.
